At the end of 2011, the Turkish magazine Hello presented a special issue featuring the best 12 events of the year. Our supermodel hit the illustrious list for the launching of her sandal collection, Ipanema Gisele Bündchen, in the country on April 6th. What a great recognition!
The event had a reception with a cocktail party and a brief catwalk demonstration of the Butterfly and Hot Sands collections. In addition to this, the supermodel took the stage to participate in a press conference in which she answered some questions and even tried her hand at a few words in Turkish.
During Gisele’s visit, the Turkish people expressed appreciation and affection for her. More than a thousand posters with Gisele’s image were scattered throughout the city of Istanbul at the time.
