Model of the Year!!


The internet users voted and the 2011 iG Fashion Trophy has elected its winners, showing the highlights of the fashion industry. The award aims to recognize the work of those who sought to keep the fashion industry fresh and new throughout the year. Gisele is a part of the list and won three out of eight categories.
The supermodel won for 1) Model of the Year; 2) Campaign of the Year for her partnership with Hope (a brand for which Gisele is the spokesmodel since 2010); and for 3) Partnership of the Year with C&A Brazil for the launching of her exclusive collections  there  inspired by her look.
A big thank you to all those who participated and helped Gisele win these awards. You guys rock!

Gisele for Versace



2012 looks really promising. For the next year Versace brings on its Spring/Summer collection with the help of our top model Gisele. Our supermodel, who already has represented the brand in several seasons, is back to grace the bright colors under the lens of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
The images were taken in the Sonoran desert in California with a blue sky and Gisele surrounded by dry grass and cacti.

Winners that will have a Precious 2012


“Precious 2012” has come to an end! It was a tough choice but the Übersite Team picked the four winners that will be awarded. They are:
PÉROLAS... Sem manutenção elas perdem o brilho, ficam amareladas, empalidecidas e totalmente sem graça. Quanto mais a usamos mais bonitas e vistosas elas ficam e assim é o AMOR sem manutenção perde o brilho, fica sem graça, mas quando resolvemos multiplica-lo ai sim ganha um brilho especial, ganha força e muda o nosso viver e como o Amor é a unica coisa que levaremos desta terra, em 2012 quero cultivar o amor para que nunca perca o brilho e fique cada vez mais intenso, Amor pelas pessoas, Amor pelas conquistas, Amor pela vida.
Para tornar meu ano precioso eu espero em 2012 ter muita saúde e disposição. Cuidar do corpo e do coração. Que a minha vida seja como a letra de uma alegre canção. Pretendo fazer da felicidade a minha melhor amiga. Quero amar e sentir a sensação de ter "borboletas na barriga”. Desejo também fortalecer as verdadeiras amizades. De quem está longe pretendo matar as saudades. Quero cultivar tudo aquilo que for de verdade. E meu desejo para o mundo é que as pessoas se lembrem de preservar a natureza, que é nosso maior tesouro, essa sim vale mais do que ouro.
O precioso é diferente, ser precioso é ser gente,é poder ser amado, é cultivar o conquistado e ser merecedor do ser amado...Para um ano precioso o amor deve ser plantado, Viu só, como não é assim tão complicado!
Pois em um mundo tão desvirtuado, o carinho deve ser o bem mais valorizado.
Aprendemos que um carbono para não se transformar em um simples grafite e sim em um maravilhoso diamante, o mesmo deve passar por condições de grande pressão e altas temperaturas. Na vida é a mesma coisa, se quisermos ter um 2012 precioso, precisamos passar pelas adversidades impostas com muita coragem, esperança e alegria sabendo que as provações desta vida são como uma escada que nos remete ao topo mais alto, para que de lá nossa luz contagie a todos, como um diamante.
The contest that started off on December 8th was a huge success. The following question was posted on Gisele’s wall on Facebook: What would you do to make 2012 a precious year? During the seven days of the contest, thousands of people submitted several answers in the space for the comments. Among the most desirable wishes were health, love, happiness, and good humor.

Gisele's blog: Create a Quilt Panel and help fight against AIDS

December 1st is World AIDS Day. In the year that marks 30 years of the epidemic, the main goals of all the organizations who strive to fight against the disease are getting bigger and bolder.
(RED) is a well known initiative for its great work on the African continent. Now they are launching a new (2015)Quilt campaign with a new bold goal: By 2015, eliminate the transmission of HIV from mothers to their babies and have a world where no child is born with HIV.
The idea of the campaign is reminiscent of the AIDS Memorial Quilt, created in 1987, by The Names Project Foundation, in which thousands of names were displayed on a Quilt in response to the thousands of people who died from AIDS.
24 years later, (RED) aims to build another Memorial (this time a digital quilt online) and invite everyone to make a pledge to help deliver an AIDS free generation by 2015.
You can support the cause by buying (RED) products and 50% of the profits go to UN Global Fund for Africa. You can also create your own panel and add it to the (2015)Quilt. Gisele has her own panel, what about you?
